Waiting with purpose

When was the last time you participated in productive waiting? Check out this 3 minute audio thought recorded while I was waiting for my turn…

Psalm 38:15 “But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.”

  1. great reminder of the best way to use those moments – love the autumn background by the way !

  2. Awesome….i get caught up in the ‘sense of urgency’ everyday. This is a great reminder for me to appreciate those slow moments. 🙂 Thank you.

  3. Good point! Seems like with today’s gadgets everyone is busy. Too often busy is translated as “productive”. Just today my computer at work was freezing up. The IT tech came in and did his thing for about 20 minutes. Rather that read mail, clean off my desk, etc., I stared over his shoulder like I knew what he ws doing. I was busy but not productive. Time wasted. Time gone forever. I waited without a purpose. Not good!

I thought you were just supposed to convict me on the weekends, Andy! :]

    God bless you.
